CV  Oliver Schmidt, Magister Artium in cultural studies, german studies and philosophy. 2011 doctor’s degree at the cultural studies department at the University of Bremen, dissertation title: „Hybride Räume. Filmwelten im Hollywood-Kino der Jahrtausendwende“ (Schüren 2013). Since 2012 fellow of the Young Researchers Initiative at the University of Hamburg, current research project: „Hollywood reboots. experience and genre transformation in contemporary US-Remakes.“ Editor of the online journal Rabbit Eye – Zeitschrift für Filmforschung (www.rabbit-eye.de) and the reader „Hollywood Reloaded“ (Schüren August 2013, announced).
